Axis accelerations of up to 3g are attained. The RXS500DSI2 was designed as a dual-spindle machine, so that in the case of production with only two tools (e.g. impeller machining) the non-productive times for the tool changes are omitted entirely. The parts change can be carried out while the spindles are running.
