Highlights
High cutting accuracy in thick material
HGS shears are designed for heavy-duty applications. Frame and cutting beam providemaximum rigidity and resistance to deflection and torsional force, ensuring accurate shearing results in mild steel up to 30 mm.
Automatic shear angle adjustment
An adjustable rake angle provides optimum control over the cutting process. The rake angle can be adjusted at a minimum value of 0,5 degrees, allowing the shearing of narrow strips with minimal distortion, and reducing or eliminating corkscrew and bow distortions.
Longer blade life
Each blade of an HGS shear has four cutting edges and can be turned three times before grinding, minimising maintenance and extending production life.
Intuitive touch screen control
HGS shears feature user-friendly touch screen control programming. Programming parameters are quickly and easily entered at the machine. Blade clearance and cutting angle are automatically calculated based on material and thickness.
Automatic blade clearance
A blade gap adjustment mechanism automatically calculates and optimises blade clearance based on the material and material thickness.
Large throat gap
A large throat size prevents overlap cutting.
